The walls have plywood reinforcement inside and out. Horizontal lumber is bolted to each stud. 3/4 inch 14 feet long threaded rod is run across the house and through both exterior walls to prevent them spreading apart. Shoring post adds additional support. 20 ton bottle Jacks are used for lifting.
